Progress on the new synthetic turf pitch at Club Des Sport in West London is going well, with the installation of the CCGrass Superb 50 system. This will be the third full size CCGrass pitch, for Dan White the sport facility’s owner, constructed by our partner PST Sport, with hopes for work to be completed in the coming week.

The project includes full groundwork preparation, with drainage for the pitch, alongside the surrounding footpaths and kerbing which have received a transformation too. Installation of the chosen performance pad has gone well, with the Superb carpet providing a top-quality football pitch.

The Superb yarn is diamond in shape, which helps to make it particularly durable. It is made from a C8 polymer, ensuring a soft to the touch feel and excellent player experience. Due to the ability of the fibre to “stand up”, ball roll is as close to a high-quality natural turf pitch as possible, whilst the ease with which the yarn allows players to twist and turn, takes football on artificial grass to a new level.

We are excited to see the finished result and to get feedback from the club. The pitch will be tested to FIFA Quality Pro and we wish PST Sport good weather for the rest of the installation.
