Following the growing success of CCGrass in the UK and Ireland, CCGrass has opened a new office in England. Based within 5 minutes’ walk of historic Windsor Castle, home of the Queen, the new office will enable CCGrass to be closer to one of its main global sports markets.

Whilst most people are stuck at home in lockdown, the PST Sport team were able to complete the latest full size synthetic turf pitch at Club Des Sport, in west London. Now ready for play, it is unclear when the first ball will be kicked on the new FIFA Quality Pro CCGrass surface.

Pre-Christmas, our Football Foundation Framework project manager, Alistair Moore, visited the first of our projects that has begun work, East Riding Leisure Centre, Beverley. Our pitch construction partners, W H Malcolm, started work digging out the pitch before the Christmas period begun, although it’s all mud at this stage, we have some photos to show progress.

We at CCGrass are pleased to announce that Henley RFC have received their World Rugby certificate, for their Max 60 blue pitch, that was installed during the summer. The club hosted their opening in August which was a huge success with prominent members of the community coming to celebrate and show their support.

Progress on the new synthetic turf pitch at Club Des Sport in West London is going well, with the installation of the CCGrass Superb 50 system. This will be the third full size CCGrass pitch, for Dan White the sport facility’s owner, constructed by our partner PST Sport, with hopes for work to be completed in the coming week.

Whilst the vast majority of rugby players have endured months without making a tackle, hitting a ruck or simply playing the game they love, those behind the scenes at World Rugby have been busy ensuring better facilities will soon be available to more clubs and schools.
