Gravesham and Wellcome Hockey Club have received their FIH National certificate, for their CCGrass pitch, which was installed by PST Sport last summer.

Last Saturday, Hemel Hempstead played their first home match of the season, in National South, on their new synthetic turf pitch. Despite Covid restrictions dictating an empty ground, fans were able to follow a live stream of the match and support the Tudors remotely.

Bradford Park Avenue played their first match of the 2020/21 National League North season against Gateshead, albeit behind closed doors, on their new CCGrass BiPlex MY60 pitch.

CCGrass Europe are very sad to see one of its team move on to a new challenge in a different industry. Jamie Forrester, who has been with the company for two years and instrumental in the growth seen in the UK market, has accepted an opportunity outside synthetic turf, in the world of football coaching.

Max EX2 is a specially designed multi-sport system, designed to be installed over shock pads to provide a great football performance. The longer Max fibres provide a “green” top, whilst the curly yarn (“thatch”) further down in the turf, stabilises the infill layer, at the base of the turf.

Back in early August, our partners PST Sport had a great hand over to the Avoca National School in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. The installation of the CCGrass surface was a success and the school are extremely pleased with their new pitch.

This week, we have a small update on the latest installation of CCGrass carpet, at Welwyn Garden City FC.

The CCGrass pitch is down at the Moate Community School in Co. Westmeath in Ireland, with installation by specialist contractor and partner, PST Sport, going smoothly. The pitch is to be completed over the next few days, and we cannot wait to see the finished result.
