Introducing Eva Ma
Eva, what are your responsibilities, and how do you assist the European team?
I am the contact between the European team and China. The European team talks to the clients directly; they send out quotations, samples and specifications. If there are any specific technical data sheets or samples that the client needs, I am the one who talks to the factory to get them and then send them over to Europe.
As soon as the customer knows what products they want, I create the layout design and send it back to the European team to have it approved; I then get the contract ready. As soon as it is signed, I track every step of the process, starting from the production to the final delivery site. During the whole process, it is the European team who are in contact with the customer.
How often do you talk to the European team?
I talk to the team daily. Communication is particularly important when working in two different time zones. We have a 6-hour time difference to Germany where the European office is located, so when the team starts working in the morning there is still enough time for us to process orders.
Have you personally met the European team?
Yes, everyone who starts working for CCGrass is flown to China at least once to be introduced to the different teams. CCGrass is like a big family; we like to keep the European and Chinese teams as close as physically possible.
How would you describe the work culture within CCGrass?
There are over 3000 employees at CCGrass and a remarkably high percentage of them have worked here for 10 years or more. CCGrass has a good reputation as an employer who values their staff, and because of this, a lot of relatives or friends of employees also choose to work for CCGrass.
